Meet Bob Bing...

Bob Bing Craig is a writer, comedian, actor, and teacher.

A lifelong student of improvisational comedy he's trained at  The Second City, iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), and The Groundlings. He was the founding member of two improv comedy groups and has taught improv to hundreds of people. He performs regularly at ImprovCity in Tustin, California, has performed in the Cooking with GAS! and Crazy Uncle Joe shows at The Groundlings and is a member of the long-form improv group Freakus!

He's a professional writer, former editor of Midwest Real Estate News magazine and hass been published in the Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, and Indiana University Alumni Magazine, South Bend Tribune, Chicago Baseball Magazine. 

His first novel Sportsmans was released in 2022, and his next novel is expected in 2027.

Over the years he has worked as a bicycle messenger, camp counselor, kennel cleaner, running coach, dishwasher, lifeguard, commercial real estate agent, background actor, and wild goose chaser. He's lived in several basements during his life, completed eight marathons, and worked on the flight deck of the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65) while doing a stint in the US Navy.

Born in Chicago, Bob grew up in Richmond, Indiana, and graduated from Indiana University with a BA in History. He is the father of two fine young men, Jack and Moss, who will undoubtedly save the Earth from destruction someday.

He now resides in Southern California. You can find him hunting for sea glass on the beach when he's not writing or making people laugh.
